I was 18 years old when I first discovered Faux Fur.
This was right around the time I created the second collection for Marei1998. I decided to enthrall myself with the idea of producing a line exclusively using this super-soft and high-quality fabric. It all made sense.

From this point on, along with the MareiI1998 team, I set our focus to learn more, discover and travel around the world to work with the best Faux Fur producers for our garments. Today, we collaborate with Eco-friendly suppliers and transparent producers with whom we created our very own fabrics.
And this year, I am so proud and happy to share that Marei1998 became a member of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA @peta), the largest animal rights organization in the world.
